About BYI
The Bozeman Youth Initiative is a Montana 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to connect the youth of Bozeman to their community. We provide opportunities through mentoring youth-driven, adult-supported programs that help youth work towards their vision of community and reach their full potential.
BYI is affiliated with the Turner Community Youth Development Initiative (TCYDI) of the Turner Foundation. TCYDI mission statement: “To recognize the important role young people play in building healthy communities by supporting programs and activities that provide the necessary skills and emotional support that youth need to lead healthy lives and follow their dreams. In turn, respect for youth will grow.”
